cifi believes that reasonable management of indicators and targets for short term, middle term and long term can help us continuously improve the management of and response to climate change risks. in 2021, the group conducted an inspection on greenhouse gas emission which covers the greenhouse gas scope 1 and scope 2 emissions of the group, and strives to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060*. next, cifi will formulate long-term emission reduction action plan, establish a sound indicator system, and regularly review and examine the results of carbon reduction action, striving to contribute to the realization of the national “dual carbon” goals.
*the target covers the total amount of scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions of cifi group.
